Medical Scientist and co-founder and managing director of registered Australian education charity/NFO, Medical Cannabis Research Australia (MCRA). This charity has since early 2017 become a leading resource in Australia for scientific education around medicinal cannabis, as well as for advice for patients (13K FB followers).

I'm currently involved in 2 clinical research projects, the first being a clinical trial using Cannabidiol (CBD) for methamphetamine addiction, to be run in Perth, WA. I'm an Associate Researcher for this trial.
I wrote, gained Ethics Approval, and are now co-coordinating an Observational Study entitled ‘Patient-Reported Outcomes to Evaluate a Pharmaceutical Grade Medicinal Cannabis Oil in Patients with Chronic Pain of Musculoskeletal Origin (MC MSK Pain Study), working closely with prescriber Dr Matty Moore of Mode Healthcare. This study has now completed recruitment & data is being analysed in preparation for a paper being written.

I have also been the MC over several years for the Speakers Room at the biannual Hemp, Health & Innovation Expos run around Australia since 2018.

I'm also currently running a new business, INDICA HEMP HOUSE, after realising my dream of building a hempcrete house in Wilyabrup, WA, after meeting and being inspired by Gary Rogers from Hemp Homes Australia, who is the builder. The is house is now luxury accommodation and is a showcase of how beautiful, sustainable, eco-friendly, and frankly, superior to other methods of building, hempcrete can be.

Lastly, but not least, I'm a founder, major shareholder and head of Research and Development in a hemp food and beverage company, Omega Assets, which owns and runs Valley Social, a brewery which produces hemp-infused beers (the Herbee range), and hemp infused spirits in the Swan Valley, WA.
